AFIEGO Research Report on Impacts of oil refinery project on the affected personsDownloads: 23 | Size: 2 MB
OverviewThe main objective of the study was to assess the impacts of the oil refinery land acquisition and resettlement project on the socio-economic conditions of the PAPs. The study also audited whether commitments in the 2012 Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) for the oil refinery project were implemented and what impact compliance or none-compliance to the commitments had on the socio-economic conditions of the PAPs. The RAP guided Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) during its acquisition of over 29 sq. km of land for the oil refinery project. |
